SOTT L2H - SPEY
The Scott L2H is a fantastic mid-priced Spey rod series. Scott has packed the L2H with componentry and features often seen on higher-priced rods and the performance of the L2H is indicative of Scott’s attention to detail. In a changing two-handed rod market, the L2H is designed to efficiently cast contemporary line tapers with modern Spey style. Advanced Reinforced Carbon - Scott’s ARC technology creates a stronger rod with less torque. ARC places hoop reinforcements inside the rod blank to create a rod that enhances casting efficiency and accuracy. While ARC adds strength and stability to the L2H, it doesn’t increase rod weight so the rod remains light in hand.
Multi Modulus Design - Scott’s Multi-Modulus blank design creates smoother rod flex and increased line recovery by varying fiber tensile modulus throughout the L2H rods. This technology allows Scott to control stiffness and flexibility at every point along the rod blank. The result? Smooth, fine-tuned performance. The blank of the L2H also sports a natural finish, like all Scott rods.

TiCh Stripping Guides - The L2H sports two high-quality TiCh stripping guides with SiC inserts. The stripping guides on the L2H are extremely durable and line friendly. The SiC inserts help line shoot across the river to reach fish holding at long distances.
Universal Snake Guides - Snake guides add to the functionality and durability of the L2H. Snake guides are industry-accepted and time-proven. These snake guides complement the stripping guides well and are designed to increase the casting smoothness and casting performance of the L2H.
Reel Seat
TiCh-Coated Reel Seat - A reel seat is an important part of any two-handed rod. The reel seat on the L2H features a double downclocking component and self-aligning slide hoods to securely lock any reel in place. The finish on the reel seat is highly corrosion resistant and will stand up to weather and ware over the life of the rod.
Rod Tube
Cordura Rod Tube - The L2H comes with a durable Cordura rod tube to protect the rod during travel and time off of the water.
Warranty
Scott Lifetime Warranty - The L2H, like all Scott fly rods, is covered by the Scott Lifetime Warranty, which covers the rod for the life of the original owner. As of July 2015, the cost of these repairs is $50 and the turnaround time is about 4 weeks. Rods must be registered within 30 days of purchase to qualify for the warranty.
